Memorable Moments From The 2018 Summit League Tournament

For four days college basketball fans crowded in the Denny Sanford PREMIER Center for the Summit League Tournament.

With two local teams making the final championship games -- fans helped set new attendance records.

Here are some of the most memorable quotes of this year's tournament.

"It's really nice to have all these fans here.  When we start building that lead, it's really fun to hear them yell 'let's go rabbits.'  It just makes us have more energy and play well together." Macy Miller said.

"They started from the get go, an 11-0 run and never looked back. Coyotes made a game of it for a while and had some good runs but today was all SD State." an ESPN announcer said.

"Before the game I was like Macy, if we win I'm not going to give you a hug and there was like eight seconds left and I was like, I can't do it, Macy, I'm giving you a hug.  It's just really special moment, being my senior year.  This is our last opportunity, it makes it so much better, so much sweater.  Ellie Thompson said.

Just a two possession game.  Daum, taking matters into his own hands, rolls it up and in." an ESPN announcer said.

"For the fifth time in program history, the Jackrabbits are going to the NCAA tournament.  They made it a three-peat here in Sioux Falls." ESPN Announcer said.

"It means a lot more.  Every year it seems like just winning our conference was completing a good season, but this year I know we're striving for so much more.'  Mike Daum said.

"I feel like the win was big for us.  We played together as a team.  We really locked in on defense and I feel like if we do that throughout our practices, till we get to the tournament, that's going to carry us in the tournament to get a win or two." David Jenkins Jr. said.

"This is the best feeling in the world." Mike Daum said.

"Mom is photo bombing you," an ESPN Announcer said.

"She influenced my career a ton and so did my dad.  My mom could still beat me one on one until like the 7th grade and she was teaching me tricks.  She and my dad both tought me the work eithic to make it here today." Mike Daum

"The attendance was a new record for us in the women's of course tonight, with the men's it's another new attendance record so we definitely had the biggest party in South Dakota today." Summit league commissioner Tom Douple said.
