Storm Center Update - Monday AM June 19

Welcome to Monday.
This past weekend was the first time this month that some areas had highs in the 70s!

While parts of eastern KELOLAND may still be in the 70s today, it will be slightly warmer with many of us returning to the 80s.  It will be a little breezy today with winds from the northwest averaging 10-20 mph with gusts to 25-30 mph.

Tomorrow is looking mostly dry and warmer with just a slight chance for scattered storms at night.
Heat and humidity return on Wednesday.  Wednesday will be the warmest day of the week with widespread upper 80s and lower 90s.  Along with the humidity, scattered storms will be possible starting in the late afternoon and lasting into the overnight.  We'll have to watch southeast KELOLAND for a chance of severe storms Wednesday evening.  The storms will be sparked by cooler and drier air that will move through the upper plains.

High temperatures will retreat to the 70s and 80s by Thursday and last through the coming weekend.
