Another mild day is ahead for most of KELOLAND. Here's a closer look at the 12-hour forecast for Sioux Falls.
Recent rainfall is making an impact on the drought. The new drought monitor will come out tomorrow, but you can clearly see the areas of green and blue showing normal to above normal rainfall in many areas of KELOLAND the past 30 days. Keep in mind the long-term deficits are still there, but we are going in a better direction.
Highs today will be warmer West River in the 80s.
Tonight will be cool in the 50s with mainly dry weather.
That trend will change starting late Thursday West River, with more rainfall likely Friday and Saturday across the east. You can see the heaviest trends may align in parts of MN.
Rain chances will be highest for Sioux Falls Friday night into Saturday. There could still be isolated rainfall on Sunday. High temperatures will likely stay in the 70s the next few days.
