A longtime bar will be closing its doors later this month in Sioux Falls.
Borrowed Bucks Roadhouse announced Wednesday morning that it's last day of business will be Saturday, August 26 after 25 years in business along Western Avenue.
Business partner Kirk Keupp said the closure is based on the changing bar scene in Sioux Falls. His group is going to focus on a new bar concept to open and maintain the two JL Beers locations in Sioux Falls.
Fellow business partner Warren Ackley thanked the customers in a written statement and said that "Borrowed Bucks Roadhouse became an institution" in its time open in Sioux Falls.
The bar is planning to host a Final Countdown celebration on its last day of operation.
