First Look At Proposed Development At Copper Lounge Site

Sioux Falls, SD

The Sioux Falls Historic Preservation Board will discuss the future of the collapsed Copper Lounge site on Wednesday afternoon.

According to documents and renderings filed with the board, Norman Drake wants to build a two-story structure with retail space on the first floor.  A bar with a roof deck patio for PAve would be built on the second floor.

The area has been vacant since the building collapse in December that killed construction worker Ethan McMahon and hurt Emily Fodness, who lived in apartment in the building.
